🎯 Responsibilities
As a Draftsman / Draughtsperson, you will:
- Receive single-line diagrams and design specs from the engineering team.
- Check detailing feasibility based on initial design inputs.
- Create General Arrangement (GA) and Shop Drawings using AutoCAD and BOCAD.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Finalize and release floor drawings for PROTO assembly and mass production.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve proto deviation issues during assembly.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity of drawings for tower structures, foundations, and layouts.
🧠 Key Skills & Technical Expertise
- Software Proficiency:
- Must: AutoCAD
- Preferred: BOCAD Tower, Digishop
- Technical Knowledge:
- Transmission line towers and components (stub, insulators, accessories, tower parts).
- Layout design, civil foundations, trigonometry, and structural detailing.
- Soft Skills:
- Team collaboration and stakeholder coordination
- Attention to detail and drawing accuracy
- Creative problem-solving and layout innovation
✅ Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification:
- ITI in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical
- OR
- Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience Required:
- At least 2 years in tower detailing
- 1+ year experience with AutoCAD
- BOCAD experience (preferred)
