Key Responsibilities
🌱 Sustainability & ESG Project Delivery
- Conduct GHG accounting across Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions, using recognized methodologies (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
- Develop climate-related KPIs and support ESG reporting processes.
- Lead data extraction, transformation, and visualization for environmental metrics.
- Interpret evolving sustainability regulations and standards (TCFD, TNFD, GRI, ISSB, CSRD, CBAM).
- Provide subject matter support on building energy efficiency, climate risk modeling, and decarbonization strategies.
📊 Client Engagement & Consulting
- Collaborate with regional and global clients to implement strategic ESG initiatives.
- Offer sustainability insights in client pitches, proposals, and solution development.
- Present ESG findings and recommendations to stakeholders with clarity and impact.
📈 Business Development & Thought Leadership
- Support ESG proposal development by leveraging Deloitte’s global sustainability credentials.
- Co-author Thought Leadership (TL) articles and Point of View (PoV) papers on climate and sustainability topics.
- Contribute to industry dialogues around environmental compliance and risk mitigation.
Skills & Qualifications
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in ESG consulting, climate change, or sustainability roles.
- Experience with GHG reporting, carbon footprinting, or ESG data analysis.
🎓 Preferred Certifications (Bonus)
- ESG-related certifications from GRI, SASB, TCFD, or other regulatory bodies.
🛠️ Technical & Soft Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong business acumen and understanding of global environmental trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
