Key Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate health insurance claims efficiently, including approvals and denials
- Handle a variety of claim scenarios: authorizations, coordination of benefits (COB), duplicate claims, pricing issues, corrected claims
- Apply insurance policy knowledge (e.g., in-network vs out-of-network, coinsurance, co-pay, deductibles, exclusions, limits, state variations)
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned transactions per SLA
- Organize tasks effectively based on business priorities
- Continuously expand knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and associated services
- Resolve claim issues using established processes and quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in claims adjudication or healthcare insurance operations
- Working knowledge of Facets (preferred)
- Familiarity with HCFA and UB medical claims is a plus
- Excellent reading comprehension, writing, and communication skills
- Strong analytical ability and independence in managing tasks
- Open to graduates and postgraduates from any field
- Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime based on business needs
