Key Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Manage SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, NBAD, DLP, Anti-APT, Deception, and VM platforms across client environments
  • Integrate, configure, and maintain log sources and security event pipelines
  • Develop, implement, and optimize SIEM rules and UEBA models to reduce false positives
  • Monitor and tune performance for efficient alerting and incident detection
  • Create automated workflows and incident response playbooks to streamline security operations
  • Integrate SOAR with other security tools and IT systems for orchestration and automation
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of automation and detection mechanisms
  • Perform platform health checks, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure compliance and availability
  • Train and support security analysts on platform usage and capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response processes

Skills & Experience Required

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise cybersecurity platforms
  • Deep understanding of SIEM (Splunk), SOAR (Palo Alto), UEBA, NBAD, DLP, Anti-APT, and Deception technologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in security automation, orchestration, and incident response
  • Experience in networking, operating systems, and security principles
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • OEM certifications in Splunk, Palo Alto SOAR, or related platforms preferred

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Graduates from Tier 1/2 institutes preferred
