About the Role
As an Azure DevOps Engineer (Deputy Manager) at Deloitte, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across hybrid environments. You will work closely with developers and application teams to ensure the seamless deployment, automation, and security of Deloitte’s enterprise applications.
You’ll leverage Azure DevOps Services, cloud automation tools, and best-in-class DevOps practices to streamline delivery, enhance performance, and maintain security compliance across all environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Manage GIT/TFVS branching, merging, and pull request policies for application repositories.
- Implement Continuous Integration for .NET, SharePoint, and Power Apps using Azure DevOps Services.
- Integrate Static Code Analysis (Fortify), automated testing, and packaging into build pipelines.
- Create and manage Continuous Delivery pipelines and standardize Release Management processes.
- Implement and manage build servers, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Automate database deployments using DACPAC files through CI/CD workflows.
- Administer Azure DevOps security across teams and projects.
- Support TFS-to-Azure DevOps migrations and ensure data integrity during transitions.
- Deploy containers to Kubernetes using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to enforce DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience designing and managing DevOps pipelines.
- Proven expertise in Azure DevOps Services, GIT, and TFVS.
- Strong background in CI/CD automation for .NET and Power Platform applications.
- Experience with IIS, SQL Server, and database automation using DACPAC.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based deployments.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM, Terraform).
- Knowledge of security compliance automation and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience integrating monitoring and alerting tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of release management frameworks and governance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Certifications in Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, or Kubernetes preferred.
