Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Understand applications under test and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct exploratory testing and provide detailed analysis.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and implement automated scripts.
- Detect, log, and track defects to ensure timely resolution.
Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Work closely with development teams to reproduce reported issues and validate fixes.
- Ensure QA activities align with agile development cycles.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, defects, and quality metrics.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives in testing and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Assist in building and maintaining automation frameworks for testing efficiency.
Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, bug life cycles, test estimation, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience or understanding of test automation tools (Selenium, UFT, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and continuous integration.
- Basic programming skills, SQL, XML, or web development knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in QA or Automation Testing.
- Ability to adapt to hybrid work models with minimal travel requirements.
