Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and integrate cloud network security platforms in compliance with firm policies.
- Drive cloud security strategy, supporting secure adoption of AWS and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Lead DevOps security automation initiatives, building Cloud-based orchestration pipelines.
- Provide technical consultation to product management and facilitate collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Create, maintain, and improve technical engineering documentation for cybersecurity projects.
- Lead proof-of-concept research to develop automated security and compliance capabilities.
- Analyze complex data systems to make strategic security decisions.
- Incorporate emerging cybersecurity trends to enhance enterprise-wide security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in security engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on Python development experience.
- Proficient in AWS services: ECS, Lambda, Terraform/CloudFormation, networking tools.
- Experienced in CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms: GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, IAM, firewalls, and hybrid cloud concepts.
- Skilled in conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining technical documentation and technology roadmaps.
- Ability to design visibility outputs and monitor security posture across controls.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- AWS Associate or Professional-level certification.
- Knowledge or interest in cybersecurity, risk management, Agile practices, and industry trends.
- Experience in financial services, production support, or site reliability engineering (SRE) is a plus.
