Key Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence & Analysis
- Develop a deep understanding of target businesses and key drivers.
- Assess accuracy and reasonableness of financial data; resolve anomalies through client or third-party follow-ups.
- Perform financial modeling, ratio analysis, and issue identification.
- Evaluate publicly available information and prepare concise analysis reports and presentations.
- Support cross-border and domestic M&A transactions across multiple industry verticals.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Establish credibility with clients as a trusted Deloitte Transaction Services representative.
- Provide insights and recommendations to managers, deputy managers, and clients.
- Assist with proposals, business development initiatives, and deal execution support.
Deliverables & Reporting
- Prepare high-quality Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, and other transaction documentation.
- Identify and escalate key financial, operational, or compliance issues.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting to senior stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified in first or second attempt with strong academics.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; M&A or financial transaction exposure is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for handling complex datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present insights effectively.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and work in a hybrid model.
