Summary

Deloitte India is hiring a Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – IT Assurance and Controls Assurance in Bengaluru. The role focuses on IT audit, ITGC (IT General Controls), ITAC (IT Application Controls), SOC reviews, ERP-based control testing (SAP/Oracle), and regulatory compliance.

As part of Deloitte’s IT Assurance Advisory team, you will lead modules, conduct control walkthroughs, test IT processes, and ensure high-quality audit deliverables. Key Responsibilities

IT Audit & Controls Assurance

• Lead modules or small-scale ITGC, ITAC, and SOC engagements.
• Conduct process walkthroughs, control testing, and evidence documentation.
• Supervise fieldwork and ensure timely completion of audit tasks.
• Collaborate with client teams for data requests, issue discussions, and clarifications.

Stakeholder Management & Quality Control

• Manage client expectations and communicate audit progress effectively.
• Perform quality reviews of testing documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in audit planning, resource allocation, and engagement delivery.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

• Coach and guide junior team members.
• Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and best practices.
• Support remediation efforts and control design analysis.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with ERP-based control testing (SAP, Oracle preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IT audit standards, ITGC, ITAC, and SOC frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance reporting.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: CISA, CISSP, CRISC.
• Knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).
• Experience with IT audit processes, compliance frameworks, and risk assessments.
• Prior experience evaluating ITGC frameworks and SOC reports.

Qualifications

• Graduation / B.E. / B.Tech in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT audit, IT assurance, or controls assurance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, SOC reporting, and IT regulatory compliance.
