Key Responsibilities
As an Azure Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric Consultant, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
- Work extensively with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and SQL-based solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across data systems.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and reporting.
- Support large-scale data migration and transformation initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure and Microsoft Fabric capabilities to apply best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Solutions.
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL, and Data Lake architectures.
- Experience with ETL design, development, and optimization.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery models.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are a strong plus.
