Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Medical Physicist at Apollo Hospitals, Delhi, you will:

  • Assist in treatment planning and radiation dose calculations for oncology patients.
  • Calibrate and maintain radiotherapy equipment, including linear accelerators.
  • Support radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and the environment.
  • Work with oncologists and radiation therapists to deliver accurate cancer treatment.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) tests on radiation oncology machines.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with AERB/IAEA standards.
  • Contribute to research, clinical audits, and innovative treatment techniques.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Medical Physics / M.Sc. Physics with Diploma in Radiological/Medical Physics (DRP/DRM).
  • Certification/registration as per AERB guidelines preferred.
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience (fresh postgraduates can apply).
