Key Responsibilities
1. Data Pipeline Development
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using PySpark, Scala, and Apache Spark.
- Extract, transform, and load large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
2. Azure Cloud Data Solutions
- Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata for efficient analytics and reporting.
- Ensure proper data security, encryption, and regulatory compliance.
3. Analytics & Reporting Support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and snapshots using processed data to enable business insights.
- Apply big data and cloud best practices to maintain high-quality, accurate datasets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
- PySpark, Scala, Azure cloud development
- Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics
- Data modeling, ETL pipeline development, SQL databases
- Programming in Python or Scala
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Hive, HBase
- Data warehousing and dimensional modeling
