Key Responsibilities
As an Executive in EY’s Valuation team (Mumbai), you will:
- Conduct property, plant & equipment (PPE) valuations and prepare detailed valuation models
- Perform data collection, site visits, and regulatory analysis
- Review and evaluate legal and technical documents such as building drawings and plant layouts
- Interact with clients, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and OEMs to collect necessary information
- Analyze balance sheets, fixed asset registers, and financial data in MS Excel
- Draft detailed valuation reports and present findings to managers and partners
- Ensure compliance with EY’s risk management policies and procedures
- Identify new opportunities for existing clients and contribute to business development
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong valuation modeling skills and analytical mindset
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Strong team orientation and collaboration skills
- Initiative-driven with a problem-solving approach
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)
- Postgraduate qualification in Valuation, Construction Management, or Project Engineering Management
- Professional affiliations such as RICS, ASA, or Institution of Valuers preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in conducting PPE valuations
