This role offers the opportunity to work in EY’s Forensics practice, specializing in investigations, compliance checks, risk assessments, and verification processes.

As a Consultant at EY Mumbai, you’ll support clients across industries by validating documents, coordinating with verification sources, managing compliance checks, and analyzing data to ensure integrity and transparency. If you have 4+ years of experience in market research, company profiling, or transformation projects (especially in the banking domain) and strong analytical skills, this position is a great opportunity to grow within EY’s highly regarded Forensics team.

Job Details at a Glance

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update records in internal systems and Excel databases
• Validate information and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Verify credentials by liaising with HR SPOCs, institutes, universities, and candidates
• Conduct follow-ups through calls and emails to close verification processes
• Coordinate with verification sources and update databases accordingly
• Ensure timely closure of verification checks within defined SLAs
• Collaborate with other operations teams when required
• Support compliance investigations and provide analytical insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
• 4+ years of experience in:
  • Market research, company profiling, or secondary research
  • Business requirements gathering and transformation projects (banking domain preferred)
  • Compliance, verification, or investigations-related roles
