Key Responsibilities
As an Officer – MRP / Material Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Developing optimized replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials to ensure zero production loss.
- Creating short-term and long-term (18-month horizon) replenishment strategies aligned with working capital and waste-reduction goals.
- Monitoring MRP purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy of delivery dates, lead times, and required quantities.
- Creating, managing, and following up on purchase orders with suppliers.
- Handling supplier coordination including delivery confirmations, issue resolution, discrepancies, and claims management.
- Defining stock policies and inventory management approaches for multiple SKUs.
- Identifying and addressing supply-demand imbalances in materials planning.
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Driving supply chain improvement initiatives in collaboration with suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years in MRP, materials planning, or supply chain operations (FMCG / Food & Beverage preferred).
- Strong knowledge of MRP tools, procurement processes, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities for supplier relationship management.
- Ability to balance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational continuity.
