Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant – Python Developer at EY Mumbai, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and automation scripts.
• Apply OOPS principles and Python’s in-built data structures for efficient solutions.
• Implement iterators, generators, decorators, context managers, and advanced Python features.
• Build RESTful APIs using Flask and ensure code quality with robust unit test cases.
• Optimize processes with search and sort algorithms for large datasets.
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases for data management.
• Manage code using Git, SVN, or CVS version control tools.
• Participate in peer code reviews, debugging, and exception handling.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams for seamless deployments.
• Understand and contribute to financial services trade lifecycle automation.
• Follow Agile methodology and SDLC best practices throughout development.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Python programming
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts
• Python data structures & advanced features (iterators, generators, decorators, context managers)
• REST API development using Flask
• Unit testing & automation frameworks
• Algorithms – search and sort techniques
• Version control tools: Git, SVN, CVS
• Database experience: SQL and/or NoSQL
• Familiarity with Agile and SDLC processes

Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of financial services
• Experience with trade lifecycle processes and related automation
