💼 Key Responsibilities
As an Azure DevOps Engineer at Ford, your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
- Managing cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, and services) with a security-first approach.
- Leading automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Collaborating across IT and business teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise goals.
- Integrating security tools (CASB, SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, etc.) across the DevOps lifecycle.
- Monitoring performance, scaling, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud infrastructure.
- Supporting 24×7 security operations when needed.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
✅ Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on DevOps and IT security experience.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).
- 2+ years of experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates).
- API development and scripting in PowerShell, Python, YAML, NodeJS.
- Experience leading projects and DevOps implementations.
🌟 Preferred Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with security engineering: DLP, SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, OpenShift Tekton, or similar tools.
- Hands-on with GCP Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace or GCP Ops Suite.
- Experience designing serverless architectures and secure coding practices.
- Understanding of system reliability, availability, and scalability principles.
