Key Responsibilities
As the Billing Manager at Apollo Hospitals Bangalore, you will:
- Generate and review Deposit Exhaust Printouts; follow up on outstanding patient payments
- Handle patient queries regarding billing and payment processes professionally
- Collect interim advances and ensure timely cash collections
- Coordinate with consultants for surgery updates and billing accuracy
- Prepare estimation letters for patients under government schemes
- Finalize patient bills and manage cash collection efficiently
- Generate critical billing reports such as Deposit Exhaust Report, IP & OP Discounts Report, and routine financial documents
- Assist the senior Billing Manager with doctor accounting and financial reconciliation
- Ensure timely submission of bills to Third Party Administrators (TPAs)
- Meticulously follow up on receivables to maintain hospital cash flow
- Create tariffs for undefined services and implement billing policies
- Perform additional billing-related tasks as assigned by superiors
